# How can I find the new job of my Contacts?

## Tracking Job Changes

Maintaining an up-to-date Job History for your contacts is critical for retaining relationships and identifying new opportunities when key stakeholders move to new companies. Delpha allows you to track these changes on an individual basis or at scale using Campaigns.

### Prerequisites

Before utilizing the Job Tracking features, ensure your environment is properly configured:

* You have an active LinkedIn or Sales Navigator account (Team or Enterprise).
* You have successfully [connected your LinkedIn account to Delpha](/delpha-for-salesforce/how-to-faq/delpha-linkedin-connector/how-can-i-connect-my-linkedin-account-to-delpha.md).
* You have the necessary permissions to create or manage [Delpha Campaigns](/delpha-for-salesforce/delpha-campaigns.md#delpha-campaigns-overview).
* The **Delpha Job History** component has been [added to your Salesforce page layout](/delpha-for-salesforce/how-to-faq/delpha-job-tracking/how-to-display-the-job-history.md).
* Your targeted Accounts already have a LinkedIn profile attached and have been enriched by Delpha at least once.

### Tracking a Single Contact Record

If you want to manually check or update the job history for one specific person, you can do this directly from their Salesforce record.

1. **Open the Record:** Navigate to the specific Contact record in Salesforce.
2. **Run the Conversation:** In the Delpha Bot, open and run the **Enrich Contact Details** conversation.
3. **Review the Update:** After a brief moment (up to 1 minute), the Job History component will automatically update.

> 💡 **What happens if a job change is detected?** If Delpha detects a new position or a company change, your [configured automations](/delpha-for-salesforce/delpha-apps/delpha-setup/delpha-configuration/job-tracker.md#key-configuration-options) will trigger. The Delpha Bot will propose a new conversation, prompting you to define the next best action (e.g., Create a new Account, Move the Contact to the new Account, etc.).

### Tracking a Group of Contacts (Campaigns)

For key relationships—often referred to as your "Champions"—it is much more efficient to track job changes in bulk. Champions are contacts you have closed business with, who strongly advocate for your services, or who are deeply involved in your active deals.

To track these groups, use a **Job Tracking Campaign**.

#### Step 1: Define Your Target Audience

The simplest option to group your Champions is to build a standard Salesforce Report filtering for these specific contacts.

#### Step 2: Create the Campaign

1. Create a new Delpha Campaign and set the type to **Job Tracking**.
2. [Add the members ](/delpha-for-salesforce/how-to-faq/delpha-campaigns/how-to-add-records-to-a-campaign-from-reports.md)of your Salesforce Report to this campaign.

#### Step 3: Configure Settings & Best Practices

Before executing the campaign, please review these critical requirements:

* **Cookie Configuration:** Ensure you have properly set [which user's cookie will be used](/delpha-for-salesforce/delpha-campaigns/configure-a-delpha-campaign/review-and-update-the-settings.md#user-assignment-for-enrichment) to execute the LinkedIn enrichment for this campaign.
* **Pre-Clear Your Accounts:** To get the most accurate results from the Job History feature, all of your Accounts should already have a LinkedIn profile and be enriched *before* you run contact tracking.
  * *Tip:* You can execute a mass enrichment of your Accounts beforehand using a separate Delpha Campaign in "[Cookieless mode](/delpha-for-salesforce/delpha-campaigns/configure-a-delpha-campaign/review-and-update-the-settings.md#enrichment-step-customization-linkedin-only)".

#### Step 4: Run or Schedule the Campaign

Your campaign is now ready. A Job Tracking campaign can be run immediately on-demand, or you can set it to run automatically on a recurring schedule.

> 💡 **Best Practice:** By setting a scheduled execution (e.g., checking every quarter), you ensure you never lose track of your Champions, completely automating your relationship retention strategy.
