How to modify the detection threshold
Learn how to fine-tune Delpha’s duplicate detection by updating the AI Threshold. Improve accuracy by customizing the confidence score for potential duplicates.
Overview
Delpha’s duplicate detection engine uses an AI Threshold to decide when two records are considered potential duplicates. This threshold is based on a confidence score from 0 to 100.
By adjusting the AI Threshold, you can make the system more or less sensitive to potential matches.
Where to Update the Threshold
Open the Delpha Setup app in Salesforce.
Go to the Duplicate Configuration tab.
In the Properties section, locate the field labeled AI Threshold.
Set your desired threshold value:
Higher value → Stricter detection (fewer pairs flagged as duplicates)
Lower value → Broader detection (more pairs flagged)
Example: Setting the AI Threshold to 85 means only pairs with a match score of 85 or higher will be considered potential duplicates.
When to Update the Threshold
You're getting too many false positives → Increase the threshold.
You're missing true duplicates → Decrease the threshold
