How does job tracking works

Delpha builds a detailed Contact Job History using LinkedIn data. Automatically capture job titles, companies and duration and link them to existing accounts for better insight into career movements.

Contact Job History in Delpha

Delpha automatically builds a detailed job history for each Contact using data retrieved from their LinkedIn profile. This information is stored in the custom related object: Contact Job History (API Name: delpha__DDQ_ContactJobHistory__c).

How It Works

  • Triggered by a LinkedIn Enrichment step, either:

    • Manually (via the Delpha Assistant Bot), or

    • Automatically in a campaign using "Enrich Contact from LinkedIn"

  • For each LinkedIn job experience found, Delpha creates a new entry under Contact Job History.

Fields Captured in a Job Entry

  • Contact: Lookup to the Contact record

  • Contact Job History Name

  • LinkedIn Job Title

  • LinkedIn Job Description

  • LinkedIn Job Location

  • LinkedIn Company Name

  • LinkedIn Company URL

  • LinkedIn Job Starting Date

  • LinkedIn Job Ending Date

  • LinkedIn Job Date Range

  • LinkedIn Job Duration

  • Active: Indicates if the job is current (true)

  • Account:

    • If Delpha finds a match between the LinkedIn company and a Salesforce Account, this becomes a lookup

    • If no match is found, it links to Delpha_NoAccount (technical fallback)

  • Status (picklist):

    • New Job – if the company has changed

    • New Position – if the company is the same but the role has changed
